I'm a natural light, on-location photographer. My style is unique and different so please take a look at some sneak peaks from other sessions to be sure I meet your wants and needs. I love untraditional portraits, colors, candid and unique settings. I spealize in children, couples, engagement, weddings, family, pets...ect. I would love to venture in photographing whatever ideas you may have so please do not be afraid to ask!
Before your session I will contact you via email or by phone to comfirm your session date, the time and the location that we will meet at to finalize all your session details so we are both FULLY prepared for your session. I will also be getting to know you just a little more and the type of session that you want and answer any questions that you may have. I may have crazy random questions about your lifestyle or hobbies so beware! :) If you need help with your wardrobe, I'd be more than happy to help you put something together! :)
Younger children are a blast to photograph but can be challenging! It is very crucial from the meet and greet forward as to how we approach your child's session. If I arrive without camera in hand do not be alarmed, we may just wander around for a few minutes to see what neat and interesting finds we can come across where we are. Once we both feel your child is comfortable we will begin to shoot. As a parent myself, I know it may get frusterating if your child doesn't at first cooperate. Please do not worry or stress as it seems to make tension somewhat more difficult with the child. I will not cut your session short unless you feel it would be best to reschedule. I have LOTS of patience and remember, NO TIME LIMIT! I do ask that part of the session be paid for at time of first session if we do reschedule as I typically will still use some of the shots from the first session. Bribes are great, however, the earlier we use them the harder it may be to keep their attention througout the session. We may wander from Mom & Dad for a few minutes as I have found it really helps with the whole "out of site out of mind" aspect. I promise and guarantee a safe, fun, and happy session! We may not always get smiles but I will do my very most to capture your child's personality at it's best. Your child may get to play with high dollar equipment to see just how cool camera's can be! :)

I still get excited and nervous before each shoot. I want to connect with you on a personal level and get to know you and your family. I do my best to capture you and your family in real time, and your true everyday personalities that you will want to look back on and remember forever. Basically just be YOURSELF!! I take so much pride in each shot during your session. I treat every session as if it was my very own family getting our family photos done! I feel privileged to be where I am and to have met such wonderful people who love my photography. I'm always wanting to learn new things and grow as a photographer. I look forward to working with each and every one of you!
I am always willing to book at any time, even last minute if I have open sessions available! If you need to cancel your appointment I ask that you please let me know 48 hours prior to your scheduled session. If I for some reason cancel your session without proper notice, I will offer you a discount for your session order total.
